Product Overview | GT-Viper Rod Support

An important accessory that should not be overlooked, especially when dealing with longer adapters, is some type of lens support. This is important in a few ways, first it will help reduce stress the adapter brings on the filter threads of your camera, it will also allow better balancing when utilizing a tripod, and rod supports allow use of additional accessories to be attached such as a follow focus.

With that said I want to introduce the GT-Viper low cost rod support from
GT35PRO. The GT-Viper is made from acrylic making it strong and light weight. And the price comes in under $100. Click here for more information.

Product Overview | D|Focus - The $100 Follow Focus

If using an adapter, one tool you might want to consider adding to your video arsonal is a follow focus. A follow focus provide more control and ease over focus. This is actually pretty pricey accessory. Sure, there are a few tutorials on the web for building you own, one was even made out of legos (check it out here), but now you can purchase a Follow Focus for $100. D|Focus also provides additional accessoris such as a marking disc to allow you to mark focus point when blocking a scene, Lens gear, and rail mount. Click here for more information on D|Focus Follow Focus.

Keep in mind you will need a rail system to use a follow focus, however there are some decent rail systems out there that won't empty you wallets. GT35pro offers a low cost rail system made out of acrylic for $95.
